Some returning members may notice that their tier has changed. CCNC has restructured the framework of its Municipal and Organizational tiers. In most cases, this will not affect fees.
However, if you have noticed a fee change you would like to discuss, please email [email protected].

Our new website comes with some improvements to membership benefits in 2021 including a Members Portal Discussion Board. The ListServ is no longer in operation.
To access the Discussion Board, you must:
- Belong to a member municipality, band council, organization, or be an individual member.
- Have a User Login. If you belong to a member municipality, band council, or organization, ask your membership administrator to add you to the membership team through their Account Management in order to set up your User Login.
-
Some benefits have changed depending on your type of membership (eg: municipal/band council, organizational, and individual are our three membership types). The majority of benefits remain unchanged, and we have added new benefits.
Changes include:
Returning organizations will notice they have a set number of seats in the Portal that come with their tier. More seats are available, if needed, for $40.00 each.
Returning individual members will enjoy access to all resources in the Library, but will receive 50% off the cost any monotized documents.
What’s new:
The new CCNC website allows 12-month subscriptions, so every time you renew, you receive a full 12-months of benefits. This is a great upgrade from the January-December model.
-
Unfortunately, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to cancel our 2021 Summit in Calgary. Our sincerest thanks to the Calgary team, our planning committee, and our board for their support and understanding in this decision.
Please join us in Waterloo, Ontario in October, 2022!
Using the new website and Members Portal
-
When you first register for membership, you will receive two emails. On contains your username and temporary password. The other confirms your purchase of membership and provides a link to begin building your municipal, band council, organizational, or individual membership information.
If your emails have not arrived, please check your Spam folder and make sure to whitelist emails from [email protected] for future important correspondence about your membership. If you have been waiting on an email for more than an hour, please contact us.
-
Account Administrators will receive two emails upon approval of payment.
The first arrives after completing your payment information and contains a username and password – keep this handy.
The other will arrive when payment is received or when the office approves a retuning member’s delayed payment. This email includes your record of purchase and a link to enter your membership information. This directs Administrators to build a Current Members information file. You can chose to have your Municipal, Band Council, Organization, or Individual culture-related work shared on the Current Members page of the website.
-
Account Administrators can add team members through the Account tab located at the top of the page when logged in, OR through the User Portal. The Account page left-side menu includes a Team link, where you will be able to add to and manage your team.
Municipal Members have unlimited team members able to create a User Account under their municipality.
Organizational memberships come with an initial set number of seats within their membership team. The number of seats organizations are allotted align with their membership tier. To purchase additional seats, select the total desired number of User Accounts you would like at time of registration. Or, you can upgrade your subscription at a later date. Additional seats are $40.00 CAD each.
Individual memberships come with one seat in the Users Portal.
