Virtual Workshop in Organizational Resilience
The final stage of CCNC's Cultural Resilience: Using Innovation to Stabilize in Times of Crisis project is a virtual version of our touring workshop. Two virtual sessions (one in French, one in English) will be hosted on Zoom and live streamed to YouTube in March.
"Great presentation that will prove very useful this year as we develop a multi-year strategy" - Mike Douglas, Mississauga Arts Council
This program was created with real-world examples of creative and strategic pivots during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic by Canada's cultural organizations. It provides guidance on how to use technology strategically, bolster community support, and develop meaningful collaborations to build an operating model that is strong and flexible, even in times of crisis.
Join us for this free online opportunity to learn how to embrace new opportunities and overcome challenges to create a creative business that can thrive in any situation.
Who should attend?
Arts and culture organizations' leadership and staff are invited to join as well as arts practitioners and cultural planners. There is an interactive element centred around the obstacles faced by the sector during the height of the pandemic and since.
All disciplines and roles of Canada's arts sector are encouraged to attend. Those who pivoted, survived, made difficult decisions on behalf of their organizations, found new audiences, or succumbed to the lockdowns all have important stories to tell in this workshop that will inform how the sector prepares for crisis in the future.

Zoom or YouTube?
This is an interactive training program. Those participating on Zoom will have access to facilitator Grégoire Gagnon who has led this workshop across Canada. There will be opportunities to bring forward questions specific to your organization to be workshopped by the group.
For those watching on YouTube, the valuable take aways from Grégoire's presentation will be yours to collect and apply to your internal strategic planning as you see fit. |
