City of Winnipeg Public Art Policy
This policy is established to direct the integration of artwork into public spaces and public works projects in the City of Winnipeg, through a well-administered and appropriately funded public art program. Public art reflects the identity of a city, gives voice to community and builds relationships between diverse groups. Public art gives meaning to place by interpreting the social, historical, cultural and natural environment.

Kingston Public Art Master Plan 2014-2019
The purpose of the Public Art Master Plan is to systematically assess the City’s current and future needs and provide an illustrative and usable framework to guide its actions over the next five years.
The Master Plan should provide a road-map for the community—a vision for how public art can enhance public places, architecture, and landscapes—along with a set of policies and processes required for the development of a City of Kingston public art program.
