The Creative City Network of Canada offers business, municipalities, academic insitutions, and other organizations the opportunity to profile their work at the 2012 Creative City Summit.
We are appreciative of the exciting challenge from the City of Calgary in sponsoring the 2012 Creative City Summit. This year the City of Calgary has offered to match all sponsorships up to a total of $5,000. Help us reach our goal of $10,000 for our 10th year Anniversary Summit! Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 - $5000.

 PLEASE HOLD THE DATE ~ OCTOBER 21-23, 2012 Creative City Network of Canada is pleased to announce that the 2012 Creative City Summit will take place October 21 – 23, 2012 in the City of Victoria, British Columbia. 2012 Summit Theme: On the occasion of the Creative City Network of Canada's 10th year anniversary, the 2012 Summit 'Fertile Grounds: Culture in Your Community' will take a behind-the-scenes look at how communities work with their local governments to be creative, and integrate culture into their long-term sustainability and economic development.

Join us in exploring real stories of how communities are repurposing spaces for cultural uses, taking over abandoned storefronts for artists' studios, developing public art in unconventional places, holding one-night only events, and integrating affordable cultural space into new development. This Summit will celebrate and share how communities are developing new approaches and innovative partnerships in bringing forward fresh ideas to celebrate the stories and histories of the people who live there.
